What we have been up to....

P90X - It is a crazy workout...but Matt and I have been sticking with it. (Thanks to the encouragement from my brother Daniel). We are on Day 73 out of 90!

Playing outside - the weather has been beautiful. We already got out a little pool for the boys to splash around in.

Garage - Matt has also been working on enclosing our carport into a garage.

Potty Training Update...

After struggling to get Ian excited about going potty...we decided it was time to make some changes.

#1 buy a potty.. (we had been using an insert on the regular toilet in the bathroom) we bought a potty that makes music once he goes in it! His eyes got SO big the first time he heard the music....

#2 New incentive. CIRCUS PEANUTS!!! & STICKERS

#3 a smaller chart so that he could fill it up quicker

Finally, I think we are making some progress. Ian has kept his pants dry for the last five day!!! The "GOOD JOB IAN" potty charts are now getting full of stickers in days instead of MONTHS!!! Ian got a Mickey Mouse flashlight (the night we camped out) for his first reward and a pair of "Cars" sunglasses for the second chart.
He is even telling us two to three times a day that he needs to go potty. When he does that he gets TWO stickers. As, soon as he hears the music from the potty, Ian jumps up and start his "I went pee pee in the potty" dance....followed by "candy and sticker please" Levi joins in on the celebration with his own little dance for his brother and has learned to say "Candy".

Camping in the back yard

Last night, we decided to camp out with the boys. Matt put up the tent, started a fire, and then got out his little reg wagon from when he was growing up....we took turns pulling them in the wagon and sitting around the camp fire.

Their usually bedtime is around eight o'clock, but we left them up until nine o'clock. Once it was time for bed, they both happily climbed into the tent. Matt and I decided to lay down with then fearing they would never fall asleep ... but it took less than fifteen minutes before they were both out! And that is how they stayed all night!

They loved it. When we got up the next morning at seven thirty, Matt unzipped one of the tent windows and told Ian to look outside! All day Ian kept saying "sleep outside" "in tent"!
