Wallpaper.....

We have started taking off the wall paper in our foyer and hall way.  What a mess.  As anyone who has ever removed wall paper knows...it is a SLOW process.   I'm so thankful for a husband that works on our house, even after he put in a long day at work (working on houses)

 Here are some pictures of them pulling on pieces of  loose paper, before they went down for a nap!  Thankfully, they were able to fall asleep, while I continued scraping/peeling paper and singing just outside of their bedroom doors!

This is the only wall that the wall paper came off in long strips...the wall paper on all of the other walls came off in little pieces...grrrr.

To keep us from getting to discouraged, with how long this project is going to take us...Matt decided to paint sections of walls as we go!

TALKING NON STOP

 The lady in charge at Chick-fil-a asked me the other day if my boys talk much at home, since they are so quiet when we go there. My answer was YES! They talk NON STOP at home.

IAN - "I love my Family" as he gave me a kiss on the cheek
Me - "who is your family"
Ian - "Daddy, Levi and you mommy"


While we were sitting at the dinner table, eating, Ian looked out the kitchen window and saw our cat.

Ian - "Look Kaden is eating himself, that's funny"   (Kaden was licking his paws)

Me - "did you have a good nap?"
Levi - "YEP"

Levi - after he hit the ball off of the tee "YA BABY!"

Ian - "Daddy, how is your day going at work?"  Ian usually calls Matt several times a day to ask him this question.
Matt - "????"  I'm not sure what his answer always is...but I know it put a smile on Ian's face!




We decided to have Ian's speech evaluated last Friday.  Although, he does have a hard time getting all of his sounds correct when saying certain words like scissors, helicopter, and yet. They believe that with time he will correct it on his own. They were impressed with his vocabulary and said they we could have him evaluated again after he turns four if we feel like it is needed.

Friday Night Fun!

 

No, we do not have dirt bikes (at least not yet, I think after tonight Matt will be looking into getting one!)
We meet up with some guys that work for Matt and they let him take the boys for rides. They had a blast! It was hard to tell who was enjoying it more..the boys or Matt!!

What have we been up too?

• The boys and I traveled to PA for a week to celebrate my nephew's first birthday
• Slowly working on the inside of our house
• A lot of "RHM" 
• Working out - depending on the day - P90X, Insanity, or Walking and 30 Day Shred
• Swim lessions
• Changing from winter clothes to summer clothes every other day!
• Watching the last season of 24 on DVD's
• Planning our vacation/ 10 year anniversary!
