Some people start their day off with a cup of coffee... I like to start mine off with a nice strawberry & carrot juice smoothie in a jar...I also like to store cooking supplies in them...
2. Looking at my handsome MAN and boys

3. Holding my kids
4. My newest nephew

5. Being held in his arms

6. Baking

My new favorite...Sweet Potato Cupcakes with a creamy Cream Cheese frosting!
Yummy!

7. The CRAZY things that my kids say

Just to list a few!

The view...

out our kitchen window!
Tonight, after dinner, Matt set out to mow the yard while I cleaned up the kitchen.  The boys quickly put on their shoes to join their dad outside.  While I was washing the dishes (yes, we still hand wash the dishes at our house...and yes we do have a dishwasher..that we only use when we have friends or family over..), I looked out the window and the boys had their water guns full and were up in their fort squirting Matt as he mowed beneath them. Giggles could be heard above the sound of the mower.  Matt gave them a stern look and then turned around with a grin.  Soon, Matt was done mowing around the fort and off the boys went running after him, to squirting him some more.  They made countless trips to the pool to refill their guns.  Levi must have thought he was not getting Matt wet enough with the gun, because I saw him unscrew the water container off the gun and try to dump the water on Matt!  The only thing was he missed and dropped the container of water, Matt quickly grabbed it and dumped it on Levi. That was the end of it for him...he ran down to the window to asked me for a towel.

We will miss you...

Grandpa (great-grandpa) Miller

Tuesday morning, we found out that Grandpa Miller went to be with the Lord.  Thursday night, Matt's sister Melanie drove up from Atlanta, GA and spent the night at our house.  We left early Friday morning, to be at the viewing Friday night and then the funeral Saturday morning. It was a quick trip, but it was one worth making.  Matt was honored to be one of the pall-bearers.

Bull's-eye

Ever since Matt bought Ian his first Rifle...Ian has been asking to shot it and TONIGHT was that night!
On the way to meet Matt I asked Ian if he was excited...he said "YES...but I'm tire" so I encouraged him to take a little nap until we got there.

While, Ian was passed out in the van Matt helped Levi have a turn with the 22 pistol.
Of course...I couldn't just let the boys have all of the fun!
Ian finally woke up and after ear plugs were inserted he finally got to shot his rifle.
Matt was creative with the targets!
While the boys were not shooting they were happy to play in the back of Matt's truck
Ian decided that he liked to shot the pistol better than his rifle...Why?
"Daddy, it shots 10 bullets instead of 1 bullet!"
