New Years Eve

It was hard to believe that we had been in PA for a week already.

And even though Matt and I had been sick off and on all week....it was great getting to see family again.
We decided to celebrate New Years Eve early with the kids.  Ali bought a ton of champagne/gun confetti poppers and horns! All of the kids had a blast watching the streamers and confetti fly out of the pop guns! Ian was a little hesitant to join in on all of the fun (because of the noise), until my brother Daniel sat down with him!
That was all it took! Before we knew it the floor was COVERED in confetti, streamers and glitter and the kids were running around making noise with the horns!
Once all of the confetti was cleaned up, we got the kids ready for bed. Ian & Tyler took a minute to read a book together!
Then we tried to get all of the kids to bed. Key word "TRIED"...so that us adults could play a game before the REAL count down to the new year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Ok so we  had 2 out of 5 kids up with us to bring in the New Year!!  I love you Tyler & Paige!!

Visit with Grandpa Miller

This morning went to visit Grandpa Miller.  He took the time to put on a slide show for us.  It was fun listening to him recount the events of his life. (He had a sign and post card business)
Above is a picture of a Coca-Cola sign that he painted on the side of a building and below is a picture of Matt's dad.

Playing in the snow

My sister Ali, kindly brought over some of her kids snow gear for the boys to borrow!  It was a struggle to get Ian into his snow gear, but after a few minutes we were all dressed and ready to go play in the snow!

Matt took the boys sled riding down the hill in my parents back yard!
Levi was a little trooper and stayed outside longer than Ian.
He kept telling Matt "again - again daddy"

Once inside we all sought out something to help us warm up!
Matt - a cup of coffee
Me - a cup of hot chocolate with colored marshmallows
Ian & Levi - tried some hot chocolate but decided that cuddling up with Diesel worked the best!

Christmas Eve

Thursday, we packed up the truck...and headed north for Christmas!
My parents hosted a Christmas Eve dinner.  My sisters and their families along with my grand parents were there.
After we had our fill of stuffed shells, pumpkin roll and cheese cake..we all gathered in the living room to open our stocking gifts!
After everyone left, the boys spent some quality time with PopPop & Mimi!
