House Project

For the last several months Matt has been working on the house. He closed our carport into a garage, put in a new front door and storm door and then we had the wood part of the house sided!  Ian & Levi have enjoyed watching as Matt and other guys have worked on the house.  Ian even got to go on the roof with Matt - which he LOVED!

Smart!

We were in the van this morning and I came to a stop sign.
Ian looked out his window and said
"Mom Mom, look S - T - O - P STOP!"

Toddler Time

This morning we went to Chick-fil-A for Toddler Time with Mickey Mouse!
It took the boys a little while to warm up - but once the song "Hot Dog" came on they both hopped off of my lap and started dancing!

A visit from Mimi, Aunt Bethany & Paige

FRIDAY

We spent the first day together at Otter Creek Water Park.

Levi & Paige were happy to take a nap - while Ian could have used a nap was to excited to sit still long enough to fall asleep!

around 3:30 we got rained out - so we headed to the nearest Redbox and rented a couple of movies for the night!

SATURDAY

We had a guy come to side our house. So we packed a lunch, loaded up the kids and went to a park. Then went shopping - swapped out our movies for new movies - and spent the rest of the day playing at the house!

Mimi brought an AWESOME train set that the boys played with for hours!

Ian & Levi loved their cousin - they kept going over to her and giving her big hugs and kisses!

So CUTE!

SUNDAY

We went to church. Played in the pool. Went shopping - got another movie! Enjoyed being together!

It is so nice having family come to visit!
We only wish they could have stayed longer!

Ian wanted to know where Mimi, Aunt Bethany (which sounds like "Danny" when Ian says it) and Paige were at all times. If they left his sight he would ask "Mom Mom, where did Mimi, "Danny" and Paige go?"

Matt pulled out all of the tricks for Paige - he sang to her, played peek-a-boo and rocked her!
She loved it!

MONDAY

Came way to fast. We were all up early to play a little before they had to leave. It is so hard saying good bye.

4th of July Weekend

Saturday morning, we got up bright and early - picked up Matt's parents and headed down to Atlanta to spend the day with Matt's sister and her family.

When we got there they had the back yard set up with pools, a slip-n-slide, baseballs and a tire swing to keep everyone entertained.

Abby and Ian had fun trying to blow away all of the flies that kept landing on their plates!

Levi enjoyed his first piece of Watermelon!

After we were done eating it was time to play in the water again!

We went to a near by town to watch some fireworks!

The boys loved them!

We didn't get home until 2 am - but it was worth it - we had so much fun!


Sunday - July 4th

We slept in!
Went shopping!
Out to eat!
More shopping..
and then home and to bed.



Monday - July 5th

Matt's 30th Birthday

Last night, we were going to do sparklers - but the boys "NEEDED" to go to bed. So we ended Matt's birthday with big candles!

Ian kept singing "Happy Birthday" to Matt through out the day it was so cute!
(I can't wait to hear "mommy" inserted for daddy in a couple of weeks)
