Mimi, Bethany & Paige

We always get excited when family comes to visit and last week we had a visit from my mom, sister and niece!

We spent a day at a water park!

 Then there was the early surprise birthday dinner at the Melting Pot to celebrate my 30th birthday!
 
We took the kids to Chick-fil-a dressed as super heros

Levi got to use a borrowed Superman cap, while Ian and Paige were happy to used aprons as capes...

The boys were excited to take Paige to one of their favorite stores to look at all of the animals!  They love to watch dogs getting their hair cut!

We lost power again during their visit, but thankfully it was almost time for the kids to go to sleep anyway...so once we got them all down Matt, my mom, Bethany and I sat around the kitchen table with flashlights/head lamps and played pictionary.  We had so much fun laughing, eating kettle corn and trying to guess what each other was drawing. I wish I would have thought to take some pictures of our crazy drawings!  Let me just say...Doily...

Wow.... it has been a while since I have posted.

So here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Ian is becoming quite the artist!  He loves spending time on his doodle pad.  

The past couple of weeks we have had crazy thunder/hail storms ....and we have lost power several time.  Here are some pictures of the boys playing with head lamps while the power was out!

We also purchased a permit this year for our Kayak!  The last time we were out on the Kayak was when I was pregnant with Ian...and now...

We have to take turns taking out TWO little boys!

Matt took Levi for a wobbly stroll around the rink...

 While Teya and J.J.'s dad helped Ian get his skates on...

 Levi didn't skate very long...

....so he entertained himself with the balloons!

Ian went around the rink several time with Matt, Tiffany and I, but soon he was off on his own!

 

Of course he had a couple of spills..but he kept getting back up and trying again.

 I forgot how much I enjoyed skating..... I even remembered how to skate backwards!  Matt raced some of the boys from the party and at the end started singing MC HAMMER and Backstreet Boys songs.

 

It was a FUN NIGHT!
