Finally...

I was feeling a little better.  And just in time for our fun filled day!

We started it off with an Easter Egg Hunt at the YMCA.

Well, It was more like a Easter Egg GRAB than hunt...but the kids had fun!

Then we went to McDonalds for a quick lunch before going to the mall.

Then we went to my grand parents house to go fishing.  Levi was quick to pick out what plastic worms we were going to use!

We fished for a about 20 minutes while PapPap and Grandma finished their lunch...with no bites. 

Levi decided he had enough of the fishing and cuddled up with Grandma to watch while we all fished...

 

 Then my PapPap came to the rescue with the REAL DEAL!

 

and YES it did hold the worms. 

and as soon as our lines hit the water with the worms we were all catching fish!

we caught so many I lost track of just how many we caught

I know it was over 20....

Walk-in

CLINIC

That is where I found myself going this morning.  I woke up yesterday with a little bit of a sore throat, but this morning it felt like i swallowed a whole egg and it got stuck in the right side of my throat.  The dr said I had strep even though she did not take a test and sent me on my way with a prescription for an antibiotic.  

I took my prescription to Walmart (i know i should have know better), since I needed to pick up a few things.  My whole body ached so bad.  It took all of my energy to get the three things on my list and then wait for the prescription to be filled.  After waiting for 40 minutes, I decided to check and see if it was ready.  "no" there were still four people in front of me. So I sat back down on the bench to wait.  About 15 minutes later I heard my name over the loud speaker asking me to come to the pharmacy.  I stood up and went over to the counter, they did not have the medicine that the doctor had prescribed to me and that they would not be getting it until tomorrow.  "what I waited that long and they are just now telling me they don't have it" grrr

They then transferred it to another local pharmacy and thankfully they had a drive thru so I didn't have to get out again.  

When, I got back to my moms house I took my medicine and went to bed.  I can't remember the last time I felt so SICK.  

It's awful.  I am here to help my mom and my sister and ...now I'm tucked away in bed, running a fever while my mom and sister take care of me and the boys.

Tuesday night, we meet my sister and her kids at a Mexican restaurant for dinner!

Greatgrand Parents!

Monday night, we had my grand parents over for dinner and to meet their newest "GREAT GRANDSON"

Sunday...

After church, we stopped in to visit my Grandpa.  He is staying in an assisted living home until he can walk better on his own. While we were there, my Aunt Deb and her husband stopped by for a visit as well.  It was nice to see them.

My Mom and I were able to get away to go shopping for a the afternoon and evening while my dad watched the boys....it was our little time by ourselves..before Bethany, Paige and Vance came to the house to stay with us during the week so we could help her out.

it gets a little crazy at my parents house with so many of us there...but we loved every minute we got to spend with them!

One of the things that the boys enjoy doing at Mimi & PopPops house is walking to the bottom of the drive way to throw rocks into the water

Paige loved playing with Ian and Levi.  She followed them around coping their every move.  She is now a BIG SISTER....

and we could not let the day end with out a quick visit to see Vance again!

The day before spring!

The boys have been begging me for about a week now to get their pool out.  They think it is summer ...it is hard to believe this is actually the last day of WINTER with as warm as it has been.  So, I gave in to their pleas and told them the water was going to be cold....that I didn't want to hear them complaining or asking to be all done in five minutes!  I should have know that they wouldn't care...they played in it for over an hour!

Our Weekend....

started Friday night with some fishing

we didn't have any bites...but notice the new outfit on Levi....

Yep...head first into the water...while trying to cast his fishing rod.  Thankfully, he only got wet and not hurt!

Saturday morning, we picked a new place to fish...we had several good bites...but missed them all.

so we switched gears...and got out the bikes.

Ian practiced more riding with out his training wheels! 

 Great job IAN!

Then we loaded up and went to a park to play some soccer, eat a picnic lunch, and play on the play ground. Then home for quick naps before heading to a NEW fishing spot.
